uTutor is a mentoring system for teachers/tutors to communicate with their students through mobile devices. Features include:

• Accessibility to multiple teachers/tutors on the system
• Online status of the teachers/tutors
• Lineup functionality for students to queue up for intended teacher/tutor
• Option of text-based chat or voice chat
• Whiteboard function for communication of images, graphics and formulae
• Recording function such that the session is retrievable by students for revision
• Knowledge base feature such that selected recordings can be turned into common searchable learning resources
• Rating function for students to comment on quality of support provided in a particular session
